We will be meeting in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency at 7am for an early morning run. Here's a map.
Why run at EclipseCon?
- You have the opportunity to meet members of the community and get to know them better
- Running clears your mind, gets you awake and focused to learn from the outstanding talks that will be presented this year
- Burn off some calories from late nights in the bar
- Get out of the building and breath in some nice crisp clean air
Organizer(s):
- Kim Moir
If you are interested in helping organize, add yourself to the list :-)
Please sign up here for the days you are interested participating. The more the merrier.
- Kim Moir, Mon-Thur
The Eclipse Foundation has generously offered to donate some prizes for this event. How can you get a prize? Here are some suggested categories. I'm sure that the Eclipse community can come up with some more creative categories.
- Runner that travelled the farthest to EclipseCon
- Oldest running or conference shirt worn during EclipseCon Exercise ie. JavaOne 1999 shirt
- Most colourful running outfit
At the beginning of March, I'll run a poll so the community can decide what the prize categories should be.
