Eclipse QVTd New and Noteworthy items for the Oxygen 0.14.0 release.

Release Overview

The editors track OCL enhancements such as safe navigation and extensible libraries.

A Sirius-based editor provides support for UMLX with a bidirectional transformation to/from QVTr.

It was hoped that the QVTr/QVTc to QVTu to QVTm to QVTi transformation chain would be useable and so M6 was version 1.0.0 in anticipation of graduation. Unfortunately, although the QVTr and QVTc functionality is demonstrated by a couple of JUnit tests, it is too preliminary to merit a 1.0.0 release.

In particular

  • Relation overriding does not work
  • there is no support for in-place transformation.

SR0

A preliminary form of QVTr to QVTc to QVTu to QVTm to QVTi transformation chain is available.

The launchers should only be used for research and experimental purposes.

SR1
