Meeting

Monday, May 18, 2009 @ 10am Pacific.

BIRT 2.3.2.2 Development

In response to a request from the Community to address a couple of specific Bugzilla items, we are planning to create a BIRT 2.3.2.2 maintenance release. Target date for the release will be early to mid-June, with the specific fixes available directly from Bugzilla prior to that.

The BIRT Project Plan for Release 2.3.2.2 has been published and lists the specific issues that we plan to address in this release.

BIRT 2.5 Development

Due to an issue we are still working on, the BIRT team is not going to release a new set of code for RC1 (target May 19). In order to not impact the overall schedule, we will package the existing BIRT Milestone 7 code and provide that for RC1. We will continue work on the issue and release updated code for RC2.

General Information for BIRT 2.5

BIRT 2.5 is the next major release of the BIRT project. It is part of the Galileo Simultaneous Release.

For details on the release, see the Eclipse BIRT Project Development Plan for 2.5. The Milestone schedule for the release is available in the timeline section of the Galileo Simultaneous Release page. BIRT is a +2 project in the Galileo release.

For a list of bugs assigned to this release, refer to: BIRT 2.5 Bugs assigned in Bugzilla
