  • XULRunner 1.8.1.3 - build
    • Philippe stated that he is having problems checking to code out Mozilla CVS. Javier agreed to give him a tar ball with the source that he can use to build.
  • XULRunner feature layout
    • The community agree to move to a single feature for all versions of XULRunner, instead of the feature per platform used today.
    • Philippe has agree to look at changing the directory structure on Mozilla.org for where the features and plugins are kept. Since the builds are being contributed by the community, in the future everything some be placed in the contrib directory.
    • ATF team has agree to put a dependency to XULRunner in its ATF feature. Previously this wasn't done so that people can use a manually install XULRunner. This is not the typical scenario for using ATF and there are other solutions for support a manually installed XULRunner like disabling the XULRunner feature from the Manage configuration wizard.
  • 64 bit XULRunner builds
    • RedHat has agree to do a 64 but Linux build.
  • Deleting Plugins
    • There are some plugins that need to be deleted. The plan is to zero out the plugins in the next milestone, so that people who install the new version of ATF over a previous version don't run into problems with the plugins still running. This has been a problem in the past. The plugins to be deleted are the following.
      • org.eclipse.wst.jsdt.atfdebug
      • org.eclipse.atf.javascript.jslint
      • org.eclipse.atf.javascript.validator
  • WebTools CVS reorg
    • Web Tools has reorg CVS and the ATF build needs to be changed to work with the new reorg.
  • WYSIWYG editor
    • Discuss the issue of bringing in the WYSIWYG editor from Joomula and had a general discussion of the technical issues of creating a WYSIWYG for Ajax application. A proposal will be written and sent out to the community for review.
  • Moving to WTP 3.0
    • There doesn't seem to be any major issues with build against WTP 3.0 M3. The team still needs to decide when it wants to move to WTP 3.0, support parallel builds, etc.
  • Ganymede Simultaneous release
    • Need to do further investigation of the requirements for a Ganymede Simultaneous release.
  • David Thomson
    • David Thomson describe how his company is using ATF and the embedded browser. His company is in the financial services and uses the embedded Mozilla browser and JavaXPCOM to build his application.
